Our mission

The Alumni Association of the New York Academy of Art (AANYAA) is a voluntary, membership-oriented organization composed of graduates of the New York Academy of Art. The Mission of the organization is three-fold: (1) to strengthen the bonds of friendship and collegiality between and among alumni and current students of the Academy; (2) to enhance and promote the professional endeavors of the alumni and members of the organization; and (3) to support the Academy and further its goal of fostering in its students the values and skills needed for the creation of significant contemporary art through the study of the human figure.
