I was accepted into The Arctic Circle Expedition, a three week residency for artists and scientists aboard a ship sailing in the Arctic in October of 2010. I plan to make a series of landscape paintings about the arctic environment as a result of the residency. I have already begun planning and doing research for the trip. Its a huge undertaking for me, so you will likely be hearing more soon about some of my fundraising efforts to ensure that all goes as planned.
