The Cahoon Museum of American Art announces a call for entries for its second national juried exhibition, “Moonstruck,” running Sept. 21-Nov. 7 this year in a 1775 house art museum on Cape Cod. Open to all artists 18 or older nationwide. We’re seeking original works that celebrate the moon in all mediums and styles. Entries must have been completed after January 1, 2008, and created without supervision. Works will be made available for purchase if the artist chooses.

Awards: first $1,500, second $1,000, third $500, honorable mentions $100, plus Visitors Choice Award $250.

Juror: noted pastel artist and author Anne Heywood.

Entry fee: $25 for up to three pieces. Submit CD with JPEG or TIFF images.
