Fuse Gallery, an artist run gallery in the east village is seeking interns.
We have had several academy interns over the past few years and the manager is 2006 alum Lisa Lebofsky.

This is an exceptional opportunity to get a hands on experience with the inner workings of a gallery and meet a variety of artists, collectors and dealers.

Here is a brief description of what the internship involves:
Intern responsibilities include assisting with:
• show installations
• packaging and shipment of artwork
• sales and exhibition projects
• mailing and correspondences
• everyday gallery duties

We need reliable individuals looking to expand their resume and gallery experience. We would only need them 2-3 days/month plus more if they volunteer. The gallery hours are Wed-Sat 3-8pm.

Experience with OSX or later, Photoshop, Word, Excel, Entourage, Dreamweaver a plus but certainly not mandatory – interns will gain experience working with these programs regardless.
