ART Book ClubAny one interested in forming a art book club? If in NYC we could meet otherwise it could be online discussion. I am thinking of books like David Hopkins: After Modern Art, 1945-2000, Jacques Barzun : From Dawn to Decadence 1500 to the Present, 500 years of Western Cultural Life; Walter Pater, the Renaissance, Studies in Art and Poetry; James Elkins, What Painting is; Paul Gauguin Noa Noa, the Tahitian Journal, Eastlakes’s techniques, Vasari’s Lifes and Techniques, etc. There are so many that are more enjoyable if you have someone to discuss with and clarify doubts. If interested let me know and post the titles of the books you would be interested in reading. Margarita |
