The Drawing Center Internships - NY*Deadline: November 15, 2009 (for the spring session running Jan.-May 2010). Offered to undergraduates, graduate students, or recently graduated students. Applicants must have completed at least one year of college to be considered. Interns rotate through several departments. Participants receive practical experience in a small art museum. Two rotational programs available: Contemporary Curation, the Viewing Program for emerging artists, Education, Operations; or Historical Curation, Registration, Publication, Development, and Marketing. A commitment of 15 hours a week minimum required, attendance at opening receptions, and assistance with at least one special event each month. Internship periods run approximately 2-4 months in length. Academic credit is available.
