Exhibition Opportunity for AlumniExhibition Opportunity for Alumni of the NYAA The 5th Annual Coffee & Tea Festival NYC 2010 www.coffeeandteafestival.com February 20-21, 2010 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. The Annual Coffee & Tea Festival is held at the Manhattan Pavilion, 7 West Street 34th Street, New York, NY. It is a two-day event with a variety of gourmet coffee and tea exhibitors. This event has been featured on Food Network’s hit show Unwrapped as well and various print and radio media. The director of the event has offered to give us exhibition space for artwork. As we are always thinking “outside the box” in searching for opportunities to exhibit work and gain exposure, a two-day juried show at this event is being offered by the AANYAA to all interested Alumni. SUBMISSIONS: Coffee and tea themes, still lifes, landscapes, portraits, figures and other subject matter are welcome. However, due to the nature of the audience, we are not able to accept nudes. We are, however, able to accept large pieces of work up to 8 feet in any direction. We are accepting submissions in all 2-dimensional media, including oil, watercolor, acrylic, prints, photos, collage and computer art, as well as sculpture (artist must provide sculpture stand). All artists who are selected for the two-day show are encouraged (but not required) to be present during show hours to be able to answer questions about their work and for possible sales. Also, several artists will be featured on the Coffee & Tea Website. PHOTOS AND FEES: Please send digital images on CD. You may submit up to 10 pieces of work. An entry fee of $10.00 for members and $20.00 for non-members is requested to help defray the expenses of the show. All checks must be made out to: AANYAA. DEADLINE FOR ENTRY: Submissions must be received by January 5, 2010. Please mail CD, entry form and entry fee to Theresa Kasun, 12 Westminster Ave., Shelton, CT. 06484. Information about delivery of work will be sent with notice of acceptance. DISCLAIMER: The AANYAA and Starfish Junction Productions are not liable for lost, stolen or damaged work. Elvin R. Freytes
