Job Title Maxillofacial Prosthetic Technician Training Program

Job Description
Maxillofacial prosthetics is a subspeciality of prosthetic dentistry. Trainees learn to create realistic facial prostheses (i.e., eyes, ears, nose) for patients in a paid training program. The trainees will use their artistic talent in a profession that restores facial appearance with custom made facial prosthetics. Trainees will also learn basic dental laboratory technology. The program starts July 1st and is two years in length.

Qualifications Required:

Applicants should have at least bachelor degree and be US citizens. Applicants will be judged on their fine art portfolio. The portfolio should demonstrate skills in life drawing, painting and sculpting. Naturalistic use of color is a plus. Also preference will be given to applicants with a science background, health-care background, or basic dental laboratory skills.

Salary: This is a paid training program at $18,720 per year with an additional $3,120 allocated for benefits.
