Sculpture Foundry in the Ridgewood neighorhood in Brooklyn is looking for someone to assist an artist with the modelmaking aspect for a sculptural wall relief to be cast in bronze. Assistance is initially needed for cutting out by hand small wooden parts of a city skyline and buildings from thin plywood and balsa according to a paper pattern. Person may be asked to assist with other aspects of the same project as needed, such as cutting out other parts, applying various details, sanding, glue up, tracing, etc.

Gig is 3-4 days/week during the month of August, starting next Tuesday August 4.

Payment will be in the form of bronze casting services in an amount equivalent to an agreed upon hourly rate for the total number of hours worked at the end of the month.
