Job Opportunity
For our esteemed New York City art gallery client we are seeking a Registrar and Administrator.
The successful applicant will manage all registrarial aspects of the gallery including installation; shipping, crating and packing; storage on and off site; framing and pedestals; condition reports and restoration; consignment agreements; manage freelance art handlers as necessary; generate inventory lists and records; maintain facilities and manage gallery’s space; maintain and update the website; provide sales support to the Owner and Sales Director; man booths at art fairs and other events; other duties as required.
The ideal candidate will have a BA in art history and at least 3 years experience as a registrar, preferably at a major commercial gallery.
Strong organizational skills and general administrative experience a must. Salary to 65K plus benefits.
