The first annual All -Alumni Exhibition happened at the Flux Factory back in October! Picturing The Unprintable is the first of a new AANYAA annual exhibition open to every artist who's graduated from the New York Academy of Art. Each Artist chooses a work from their studio, completely un-juried, to showcase where their artistic practice has taken them after life at the Academy. We displayed over 200 submissions from all over North and South America, alumni from as far back as the first graduating class, and re-connected with Alumni who've spread across the world. Picturing the Unprintable coincided with the launch our new platform on INSTAGRAM which features a new Alumni each day, and allows us to spotlight Artists who's careers have taken them as far away as Alaska, China or Germany. Like most firsts putting together Picturing the Unprintable was fast and dirty, but has us looking forward to what comes in next year!
