Dear Academy Students, Alumni and Faculty,
 
One of our best traditions is Deck the Walls, the Academy’s annual holiday party and small works show on Friday, December 15th.  It’s the time of year when we throw open our doors and invite everybody – friends, artists, patrons and collectors – to enjoy some holiday cheer, Academy-style, which of course includes an exhibition of works by our community.

If you've been before, you know anticipation runs high and people line up hours in advance to be the first in.  It is a great way to get your work into the collections of some of New York’s most prominent art collectors and support the school by doing so.  You never know who will respond to your work!

Let's make our walls dazzle.  Please consider giving a work of art, or two, or three (14 inches or smaller).  The deadline for donations is Wednesday, December 6 at 5pm.  More information can be found below.

I’m thrilled to announce our 2023 Alumni Committee: Haley Pisciotta (MFA 2023), Laura Romaine (MFA 2022, Chubb Fellow 2023), Kaitlyn Stubbs (MFA 2012), Jiannan Wu (MFA 2016), and Zane York (MFA 2003).  I hope you will join them in making this year’s Deck the Walls the best show yet!
