Influenced by early film narrative techniques, my paintings feature realistic landscapes and surreal multi-figure scenes that challenge the viewer to suspend higher-level thinking in favor of primal reaction. I use a natural yet dreamlike atmosphere to evoke a subconscious feeling of nostalgia and déjà vu.

I find inspiration for my imagery during early morning walks with my dog and at nighttime revels. Although the scenes depict real places in Corpus Christi, TX, they evoke a sense of familiarity with anywhere once called home.
