<p>Erin Pollock (b. 1982, Alaska) is painter, sculptor, and stop-motion animator based in Brooklyn. Her work is a maximalist celebration of materials and the human capacity for transformation. Recently, Pollock has enjoyed collaborating with musicians, creating animations for large-scale opera productions and music videos. Her film Lucky Mud screened at 25 international festivals - winning 10 awards. She’s been a Fellow at The MacDowell Colony, Jentel Foundation, CAFA Beijing, and The Chubb Postgraduate Fellowship at the New York Academy of Art. She&#x27;s staged many public projects, including commissions for The Seattle Art Museum, Microsoft, Ford Motor Company, and Municipal Public Art Programs in Anchorage and Seattle.</p><p>Pollock’s exhibition history includes shows in Beijing, Brooklyn, Buenos Aires, Cannes, Florence, London, Los Angeles, Lima, Madrid, Mexico City, Milan, NYC, Paris, Rome, Seattle, and Seoul. Her work has been generously supported by many organizations including The Will Cotton Foundation, The Rasmuson Foundation, The Rema Horte Mann Foundation, and 4Culture.</p>
