Meg Franklin (born 1982, Young Harris, GA) received an MFA in painting from the New York Academy of Art in 2013. She has had a solo show at Marvin Gardens gallery, and a two-person show at Turn Gallery. She has participated in many group shows in New York as well as a solo show in Los Angeles. Meg also received a MFA in creative writing from The University of Florida and a BA in English from Washington and Lee University. She currently lives in Rome, GA where she is active in her local arts council, animal rescue, and politics.
