Rebecca (Becky) Schuman is a painter, naturalist, and educator born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. She received her bachelor’s degree in studio art and environmental studies from Drew University in 2021, and has lived in New York City for the past four years. Becky has since worked as a teaching artist for students from preschool to college age, a muralist, theater set-painter, and a nature educator. Outside of painting, she engages in environmental and animal rights activism, and is also an avid bird-watcher. She is currently studying at the New York Academy of Art to obtain her MFA with an expected graduation in May of 2026.
