Dena Sturm is a painter born in California, lives and works in New York City.

Sturm started her art training at the New York Studio School of Drawing, Painting, and Sculpture and received an MFA in Painting from the New York Academy of Art in 2022.

She was awarded a National Association of Women Artists Award in 2022 and the Mercedes Matter Award in 2020. Sturm has also been the recipient of both Seligman/Von-Simson and Speyer Scholarships for excellence in painting. Her work has been included in several gallery and New York Academy exhibitions.
