



Jessica VanDenburg is a multidisciplinary professional and teaching artist with extensive experience in both traditional and contemporary art techniques. With a Master's degree in Fine Art from the New York Academy of Art and a BFA from Cal State University, Fullerton.
An active exhibiting artist, she has showcased her work nationally in Los Angeles, New York City, and Wisconsin, and internationally in Copenhagen, Denmark. She has been a member of numerous professional organizations, including: the Salmagundi Art Club, Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club, The Portrait Society of America, the Women’s Caucus for Art, and the Pastel Society; and maintains a strong presence in the contemporary art scene. She has works in private collections throughout the USA, as well as being actively involved in donating and participating in charitable art events.
She has taught at institutions such as The Teaching Studios of Art and Borough of Manhattan Community College. She has led classes in pastel painting, life drawing, and foundational classical techniques for youth and adults. Her teaching approach is deeply individualized, emphasizing creativity, critical thinking, and technical proficiency.
In parallel with her teaching career, Jessica has worked as a freelance and in-house graphic designer. Her work includes packaging design, branding, print, digital and visual presentation for both commercial and artistic projects.
