I started my career as a professional artist working freelance for the Franklin Mint at the age of 18 in 1991. I took classes to learn art techniques and study the figure at prestigious institutions in Philadelphia and NYC. Earning a MFA+60 from the New York Academy of Art in 2003.
I dedicated myself to Art and Education working in inner city schools from 2004-2014 Awarded for Outstanding Teacher of the Year in 2013
While I was teaching I had frequent exhibitions in the Arts District called “OldeCity”, Notably at East River Bank 2014-2016
2018-2020 I refined my skills and held a Residency at the North Museum in Lancaster Pa
I earned a honorable mention from International Luxembourg Art PrizeCompetition in 2021 for my work titled “Everybody’s My” in my Warfare Series Protesting Terrorism and War.
I am currently in studio residency at GinkgoArts Collective in West Chester and exhibit there every First Friday.
