I started my career as a professional artist working freelance for the Franklin Mint at the age of 18 in 1991. I took classes to learn art techniques and study the figure at prestigious institutions in Philadelphia and NYC. Earning a MFA+60 Graduated the New York Academy of Art in 2003.

 

I dedicated myself to Art and Education working in inner city schools from 2004-2014 Awarded for Outstanding Teacher of the Year in 2014

While I was teaching I had frequent exhibitions in the Arts District called “OldeCity”, Notably at East River Bank 2014-2016

 

2018-2020 I refined my skills and held a Residency at the North Museum in Lancaster Pa

 

I earned a honorable mention from International Luxembourg Art PrizeCompetition in 2021 for my work titled “Everybody’s My” in my Warfare Series Protesting Terrorism and War.

 

I am currently in studio residency at GinkgoArts Collective in West Chester Pennsylvania and exhibit there every First Friday.

 

Currently Exhibiting Fauvist Neon Pop with strong influences from Henri Matisse based on my studies at the Barnes Foundation as Featured in New Visionary Magazine Issue #10/ PXV Art Magazine #7 "Energy" Issue and ArtistCloseUp Issue #17.
