My approach to art is to paint or draw whatever catches my fancy as I proceed down the road that is my life. My "fancy" is influenced by my love of biology (I was a biochemist by profession) and my travels. My narrative figurative work explores our interactions with each other and also, with time. In portraiture, I'm interested in the relationship between the subject and myself; I depict the time we are spending together. My landscapes show our interaction with our environment, one way or another.
