Tim Bovey was born in Australia and lived there for over a decade. He developed a fascination with drawing and painting in high school and continued to study fine art and graphic design through college. He attended the Pacific Northwest College of Art, earning a BFA, and later received an MFA from the New York Academy of Art. He now lives and works in Spokane, Washington.

Working with traditional subjects like the human figure and landscapes, he uses a variety of media, such as graphite, charcoal, watercolor, ink, acrylic, and oil paint. His graphic design work is created using the Adobe Creative Cloud.
